Built by a former Alabama and John Curtis defensive back. DPT trains football players from Algiers to Uptown on the things that actually show up on Friday night: first-step explosiveness, change of direction, contact balance and the discipline to keep doing it when nobody is watching.
Schedule your assessmentFootball punishes athletes who train in straight lines. Our football program starts with a comprehensive pain and performance assessment, then builds a plan around the demands of your position - the hip mobility a defensive back needs to flip and run, the pad-level strength a lineman lives on, the deceleration a receiver needs to sink into a break without losing a step.
Coach Robby Green Jr. played the position at the highest levels of high school and college football and built DPT in 2012 to give New Orleans athletes the preparation he had to travel to find. That perspective is why film study and recruiting reality are part of the program, not an afterthought.
Every athlete starts here. We screen mobility, movement quality and existing pain before a single rep is programmed.
A safety, a guard and a slot receiver do not need the same work. Your plan is built around what your position asks of your body.
Acceleration mechanics, footwork and the ability to decelerate and redirect without losing ground.
Lower-body power and trunk stability so you can deliver and absorb contact through four quarters.
We watch your reps with you. Technique corrections stick faster when an athlete sees them.
Guest speakers and life skills for the 99% who will not go pro, led by athletes who have been there.
Movement quality, coordination and confidence. We build athletes before we build numbers.
Position-specific development, film study and honest guidance on what the next level asks for.
Programming that fits around a college calendar and a strength staff you already answer to.
Individual preparation, return-to-play work and off-season blocks built around your contract year.
Our youth track begins at age 7. Athletes ages 7-12 train in our youth group, where the emphasis is on movement quality, coordination and confidence rather than heavy loading.
Yes. After the assessment we build position-specific work. Linemen spend more time on pad level, hip hinge strength and short-area power; skill positions get more acceleration, top-end speed and change of direction.
Coach Robby Green Jr. earned over 35 scholarship offers as a high school athlete and played at the University of Alabama. Film study and honest guidance about the recruiting process are part of what athletes get here.
We train at 3001 Tchoupitoulas St. in New Orleans, LA 70115, serving athletes across the Greater New Orleans area.
Every DPT athlete starts with a comprehensive pain and performance assessment. Tell us about your sport, your level and your goals, and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
